These are brand new metal auger bushings that go between the end of the auger shaft and the inside of the clear hopper on your Bunn CDS-2 and CDS-3 machine. This component supports the end of the auger and is required for the proper operation of your machine.  These are Factory Fresh from Bunn, not knock-offs.
You receive two bushings with each purchase.
USED BUSHINGS:
Note the advertised "refurbished" bushings don't have photos of the inside where the wear between the bushing and the auger occur.  Good luck on how worn out they are when you receive them.  In the case of these parts, "Refurbished" means they washed the parts -- there is nothing to refurbish, these are wear parts and once worn they are done.
Yes, these seem a bit pricey.  We priced having them made for us locally and it was even more expensive than from the factory!  They are uniquely turned just for this application, plus all CDS machines were declared obsolete by Bunn two years ago and certain parts are becoming impossible to purchase or are increasing in price.
When installing this bushing it is often frustrating to keep it in its proper place in the hopper as you slide the hopper onto the machine.  One trick is to place a tiny bit of food grade lubricant (e.g. Lubri-Film) in the bottom of the round rim on the hopper where the bushing sits.  The lubricant is a litle sticky and can help to hold the bushing in place as you carefully slide the hopper onto the machine.  Don't overdo it -- only a tiny amount of lubricant should be used.
